What a good quote needs to have
A professional quote identifies who is proposing the service and for whom, what will be done (item by item, with quantity and price), the total amount, how long the proposal is valid, and the payment terms. This generator assembles a quote with that structure, ready to send to your client as a PDF.
A quote is not a receipt
A quote is a proposal of future value, not yet accepted — the document's language reflects that ("I propose to provide...", "valid until..."). A receipt, on the other hand, documents a payment already received. Once the client accepts the quote and the service is paid for, use the Receipt Generator to formalize the payment.
Why every quote needs a validity period
Prices change — materials, availability, and costs shift over time. Setting how long a proposal is valid keeps a client from accepting it months later at the old price. This tool calculates the validity date automatically from the number of days you enter, and the two fields update each other: change the days or the date directly, whichever is more convenient.
The drawn signature is not a certified digital signature
The stroke drawn on the canvas represents the provider's handwritten signature — it is not a certified digital signature (such as Brazil's ICP-Brasil) and uses no cryptographic verification mechanism. This tool generates a proposal signed only by the provider: on its own, it is not a formal acceptance by the client. If both parties need to formalize a signed agreement, consider a separate service agreement.
Where your data stays
The entire quote is assembled in your browser — what you type and the signature you draw are never sent to any server. If you check "remember my data", it is saved only in this browser's local storage (never synced or sent anywhere) until you delete it.

Yes, the signature is optional. The PDF is generated normally, just without an image above the signature line.
No. Providing the client's CPF/CNPJ reinforces who the proposal is for, but it is not required to generate the quote — the field can be left blank.
Enter how many days the quote should remain valid from the issue date — the final date is calculated automatically. You can also edit the date directly: the number of days recalculates itself from the issue date.
If the interface is in Portuguese, the PDF is generated in Portuguese. If the interface is in English, you choose the document's language (Portuguese or English) at download time — useful if you quote clients abroad.
Yes. Choose the currency (Real or Dollar) in the "Currency" field — item prices, the total, and the numeral formatting adjust automatically.
Only if you check "remember my data in this browser" — unchecked by default. When checked, only the provider's data (including the signature) is saved locally until you click "delete saved data" — the client's data, the items, and the validity are never remembered, since they change with every quote.
There is no limit on items. The accepted total goes up to 999,999,999.99 — more than enough for any real quote.
